Jessica Murray holds a PhD in English Literature with a creative writing concentration from the University of North Texas. While there, she organized, designed, and implemented the inaugural North Texas Writers-in-the-Schools program, which included curriculum design and assessment. She also co-developed program-wide curriculum standards while a Senior ESL Instructor at UMASS Boston. She loves working with students on creative ways to demonstrate their mastery of concepts and material, and she advocates for UDL principles in classroom instruction. As a producer for educational media production company Pellet Media, she also manages the website Stairway to STEM, which supports autistic students in the college transition. When not at work, you can find her reading, writing, and enjoying the great outdoors.
