Growing up, Gordon loved the outdoors, especially fishing the streams and shores of Massachusetts. His interest in nature led him to earn a degree in Microbiology, and later, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering. This began a long and diverse career in education as a professor, college administrator, program director and consultant. Today, he’s a recognized leader in developing and directing academic activities, events, and curriculum on a local and national level.
Gordon has authored four engineering textbooks and over 600 STEM focused blog posts and podcasts. In 2001 he was selected as one of the top 15 technology faculty in the United States by Microsoft and the American Association of Community Colleges. At Engaging Students, he is our go to guy for sage input and advice. We are glad he is on our team.
