En esta transición a clases en línea, miembros de la comunidad latina están enfrentándose con barreras que a lo mejor puedan ser vistas como oportunidades, si buscan y si está disponible apoyo en áreas incluyendo los siguientes:

• lo tecnológico, como usar una cuenta de email o registrar para clases;
• lo económico, como comunicarse con compañías de internet o sus representantes políticos para pedir más recursos;
• y lo psicológico, cuando el factor de la educación en mejorar su futuro no está considerado tan urgente.

In the transition to online classes, many members of the Latino community are met with barriers. These barriers could be seen as opportunities if support is sought and available in areas including the technological, the economic, and the psychological. Those poised to assist the community include teachers, educational administrators and support staff, volunteers, nonprofits, and political representatives–as long as there is a will to do so and a belief in the power of education. But the first step is communication, and this video enacts that in relating first-hand experiences with the Latino community’s struggles and successes in adapting to online education.
